Leading up to a competition

We had a few athletes participate in competitions over the past week! 💪🏻 Congrats to Beth with her Camp Gladiator Finals competition invite in Texas last weekend with a top 50% finish 🏅. And to Emily with her second weightlifting competition with a 3rd place finish 🥉, and Liz with her first weightlifting competition with a 3rd place finish 🥉 in each of their respective weight classes at the Trident Athletics Classic 2023! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Competitions are a great way to test the work we put in day in and day out.


Here are some things we did leading up to their competitions: 

1️⃣ Constantly varied functional fitness executed at high intensity aka CrossFit

2️⃣ Movement specific technique work and drills

3️⃣ Deloading (volume and weight) a week out from competition

4️⃣ Dialing in nutrition
